OTR on 1st January 2011

Continuing with the previous post here are the pictures of the 1st January 2010.

All the pictures are courtesy Harbeer Singh Chadha.

Same as always the meetup place was Signature Towers NH8.  The meetup time was noon but by the time we guys left Signature Towers it was 15mins to 1PM. From here on I’ll let the pics do the talking

Following are the pics of Bobbie in is, well it used to be referred as the Black Mamba but after painting it yellow, I am not sure what to rename it…

Seen in the following pics Bobbie is eager to check the latest addition to his jeep, the 33” Yokohama MT’s followed by me in my CJ3B in 31” Maxxis Mudzillas being looked upon by eager villagers

As it had rained a couple of days back the path to the start of the track was followed by a small water logged path which was followed by a small pit.

I’ve bought this small device recently which allows me to mount a small camera on my vehicle and capture videos and/or pictures from the drivers point of view. Will post the videos soon

i just cant be more jealous of u harjeev. tuhadi jeep vaddi kamaal di hai 🙂 tuhadi jeep nu dekhan layi mai roz hi tuhada blog wekhda han.
and i wont be lying if i say that because of ur blog only, im gonna buy a jeep soon enuff. but for that, veerji mainu tuhadi help chahidi aa.

I am from mumbai, a software engg. and im just stuck on the short wheel based jeeps, like urs. i hav been lookin for one in mumbai since a month, but to no avail. instead last week i was in ahmedabad and ther i found this stock MM540,94 model, 2wd and 55 grands.
so, do u recommend me to buy the jeep and modify it (body changes, wheels, may be convert to 4wd)? also will it be cost effective in terms if i had a 4wd jeeps and done the modification. or shall i keep looking for 81 inch wheelbased jeep??? 😦

also, are these jeeeps, like urs CJ3B, still available in delhi?? shall i try there??can u recommend sum1?

or can i do somethin to MM540’s chasis and body to make it look like CJ3b??(completely, pointlessly idiotic, i knw)

please help.. and ur all the vehicles rock all the way. a true petrol(diesel) head :D.

    Dear Hrjeev,
thanks for your reply, one more request.. could you pleas let me know these tyres meant for only mud and wet areas or v can use it for all other offroad purposes, and the price of these tyres also if it available as am planning to buy a new tyres for my cj3b (1972), currently i put maxiss 295/15 tyres which is broad but cant use for offroading… awaiting your reply..

    thanks….

    • November 4, 2012 at 5:17 AM

Dear Hasif, I believe that these tyres should be good for mud and slush, but this is as per my limited knowledge as I’ve never used these tyres. I understand that you’re asking about the Yokohama MT’s. Again regarding the price I’ve no idea.
      Cheers
